Der Eckerlochstieg geht über große Grantitbrocken abwechslungsreich in Tal. Besser lässt sich der Harz kaum erleben. In umgekehrter Richtung erfordert er sicherlich einiges an Kondition, ein Spaziergang ist das nicht! Beide Richtungen definitiv nicht für Kinderwagen u.ä. geeignet. Straße lassen sich am Anfang und Ende freilich nicht vermeiden.
