Start in Rosenheim entlang des Inntalradweges über Kufstein und Innsbruck nach Landeck. Weiter am Inn entlang zu einem kurzen Abschnitt in die Schweiz bis es bei Martina in steilen Serpentinen wieder nach Österreich geht. Danach weiter auf der Via Claudia Augusta über Nauders, Meran nach Bozen. Hier führt eine 20km lange Strecke mit Tunneln zum 700hm höher gelegenen Örtchen Sarnthein.
Strecke ist zu ca. 60%-70% asphaltiert und führt weitestgehend auf Radwegen bzw. verkehrsarmen Nebenstrecken.
