Vom Campingplatz Birkenstrand über eine sehr gut fahrbare Forststrasse bis zur Illingeralm. Danach auf dem Grat entlang zur Bergstation vom Zwölferhorn. Von der Bergstation auf der nördlichen Seite des Berges über die Schotterstrasse bis zur Saustallalm. Von dort über einen nicht ganz so einfachen Singletrail zurück zur Forststrasse auf der wir hoch gefahren sind.
