Von Eichstetten (Kaiserstuhl) durch den Teninger Wald, danach an der Elz entlang durch Obstanlagen ins Suggental. Von da ein gemütlicher Anstieg bis zum Kandelhotel. Die letzten zweihundert Höhenmeter allerdings über den steilen Serpentinenpfad. Hier kann alternativ auch auf die Straße ausgewichen werden. Der Downhill über den Thoma Weg ist natürlich allererste Sahne.
