Wichsenstein ist ein kleines Dorf auf der Jurahöhe. Wegen seines Aussichtspunktes, dem 585 m hohen Wichsenstein ist es viel besuchtes Ausflugsziel in der Fränkischen Schweiz.
Dies ist eine leichte Wanderung von ca. 8,5 Kilometern.
Auch für das Mitführen von Kindern geeignet. An die Kondition werden keine großen Anforderungen gestellt. In gut 02:30 Std. ist die Wanderung in gemütlichem Tempo zu bewältigen.
Als Wandermarkierung entlang des Weges - Blaues Andreaskreuz, roter Ring, grüner Ring, grüne Raute.
