Dies ist eine Brockenwanderung bei der keine Parkplatzgebühren anfallen.
Aus diesem Grund beginnt die Tour an der genannten Kreuzung. Die kleine Asphaltstraße hoch bis zum Bahnhof Schierke und danach zuerst an der Bahntrasse entlang um dann nach links den Berg hoch bis zum Hexenstieg. Dem dann wieder breiten Weg bis zur Brockenautobahn zum Gipfel.
BeimAbstieg nach der Bahnüberquerung die Erste Abzweigung nach rechts (Eckerlochstieg) bis der Weg nach links in Richtung Bahnhof abzweigt. Immer dem Forstweg entlang, geröllig oder auch nicht, zum Bahnhof. Von hier bekannt zum Ausgangspunkt.

Das Auto kann begrenzt am Straßenrand an der Kreuzung der L99 und L100 geparkt werden. Das geht solange her noch nicht abgesperrt ist.
