Von Ischgl aus dem Trifanabach entlang bis Galtür, danach ins südlich gelegene Jamtal geht's bis zur Scheibenalpe auf Asphaltsträsschen, und dann noch Schotterstrasse bis ca. 1 km. vor der Jamtalhütte geht's gemächlich bergauf. Der letzte Kilometer bis zur Hütte ist eine recht ruppige Steigung, aber gut fahrbar.
Nach einer Jauseplatte und Getränk im Bergrestaurant geht's entweder den selben Weg auf der Schotterstrasse oder aber den Singletrail auf der anderen Seite des Baches wieder hinunter nach Galtür.
