Z Arca je náročnější část po asfaltu (7,5 km do osady Carobbi), pak teprve přejíždíme na lesní šotolinu. Vrchol následuje po 12,5 km, vlastní dojezd na M. Velo je ještě vlnitým terénem po šotolině dalších 5 km, kdy následně najíždíme na asfalt (cesta ze Santa Barbary do Arca - doporučuji dokončit tudy, po příjemném povrchu). Naše trasa pokračovala zpět přírodou, povrch byl šotolinový, místy hodně hluboký a dost to "drncalo". Navíc výhledů také moc nebylo, proto lépe dokončit dolů po asfaltě.
The more difficult part is from the beginning, in Arco, to Carobbi settlement (7,5 km). This part is on an asphalt road. The summit of this trip is situated 12,5 km far from start even if Monte Velo itself you reach 5 km farther from the summit after biking on a wavy & stony road. For the downhill I will prefer the asphalt road from Santa Barbara to Arco next time because this downhill thru countryside wasn´t pleasant (few views on the valley, not comfortable trail: the ground is stony all along the way and the stones are often realy "deep".
