Von Toblach aus startet man am Toblacher See vorbei ins Höhlensteintal bis hinauf zum Dürrensee (Lago di Landro). Am Abzweig wo es zu den drei Zinnen links weg geht, fahren wir rechts geradeaus weiter und dann geht es nach ca. 500m rechts unscheinbar hinauf auf einen Forstweg. Diese alte Miltärstrasse führt uns nun ca 600 Höhenmeter hinauf zur Plätzwiesen. Dort angekommen fahren wir an der DürrensteinHütte vorbei hinauf zum Strudelkopf oder auch Heimkehrkreuz genannt. Man kann wirklich bis zum Kreuz hochfahren und hat eine atemberaubende Sicht auf die Sextener Dolomiten und hinter bis zum Grossglockner. Abwärts wieder bis zur Hütte und dann über das Plätzwiesegasthaus hinab über die Teerstrasse ins Pragser Tal. Am Abzweig wo es links weggeht zum PragserWildsee fahren wir rechts geradeaus und nach 150m kommt rechts eine kleine Kapelle. Davor fahren wir den Weg Nr. 1 bis Niederdorf und von dort zurück nach Toblach. Eine Zuckertour!!!
