Karst Tour:
4 Tage mit dem MTB durch den Karst um Triest. Die Tour war ein Geburtstagsgeschenk zum 70'er meines Vaters und führt durch Italien, Slovenien und Kroatien. Die Streckenführung versucht die sehenswürdige Landschaft möglichst gut und abwechslungsreich einzufangen und verläuft bewußt meist auf absoluten Nebenwegen.
Tag 1, Sistiana - Trebiciano:
Startpunkt ist der Campinplatz in Sistiana, wo die Autos abgestellt wurden. Aufstieg in das Karst-Hinterland und Streckenverlauf auf Feldwegen und Nebenstraßen zwischen kleinen Karstdörfern. Später oberhalb von Triest führt die Strecke entlang der Abbruchkante und gibt den Blick auf die Stadt frei.
