Routenbeschreibung
Start in Vermol, 1005 m, oberhalb Mels SG, Aufstieg zuerst in allgemein westlicher Richtung dem Strässchen entlang, bis man über nur wenig walddurchsetztes Gebiet über Riet und Glätti zu den flachen Böden auf 1900 m östlich des Hühnerchopfs ansteigen kann. Dann südlich abzweigen und leicht ansteigend in der Nordflanke zwischen Broch und Hühnerchopf zum schwach ausgeprägten Sattel südöstlich des Gipfels. Von dort über die steiler werdende Südflanke zum Hühnerchopf.
