Ausgangsort ist Einöde bei Pfaffstätten.
Stetig ansteigend überwindet man 250 Hm bis zum Pfaffstättner Kogel.
Hier befinden sich die Rudolf Proksch-Hütte samt Aussichtswarte (Klesheimwarte).
Urige Hütte, welche sich mehrere, eigene Biersorten brauen lässt !!!
Weiter Richtung Norden zum Anningerschutzhaus.
Variante: Über Anninger-Gipfel (Wilhelmswarte).
Nach dem Schutzhaus rechts, bergab zum Richardhof.
Ab hier folgen wir dem Beethoven-Wanderweg, welcher in überwiegend ebenem Gelände oberhalb der Weinberge verläuft, in Richtung Süden.
Ein guter Platz für eine gemütliche Rast ist die oberhalb von Gumpoldskirchen gelegene Veigl - Hütte.
