This is a short trip in case that you arrive by ferry in Malta comming from Gozo or as a complementary tour to another tour that I describe in this site from St. Paul's bay to the ferries port in Cirkewwa.
Target is the town of Mellieha, which is very interesting and has an imposing cathedral, but not much for sightseeings. Supposedly it is one of the best places for living in Malta.
The first half of this tour is almost flat and the road is mostly empty. Additionally, I tried to drive through the nature, far from highways and roads. The problem is that the second half is always upwards, so you better have a good condition. Since you drive along a narrow country road, you better be also fast or you´ll block the traffic. You notice this when arriving to the town with its imposing cathedral.
