Schöne, abwechslungsreiche Rundwanderung durch tief eingeschnittene Täler, Fichtenwälder, weite Buchenwälder und weite Graslandschaften.
Parken kann man am Bahnhof Stiege. Die ersten paar hundert Meter geht es entlang der wenig befahrenen Straße. Eine Einkehrmöglichkeit gibt es nicht, nur über einen Umweg über die Eisfelder Talmühle. Auch Rastplätze und Bänke gibt es nur wenige. Durch die Holzwirtschaft sind die Wege breit ausgebaut. Diese werden zum Schluss zu schönen Wiesenwegen.
