Die Schleife in der Zillertal-Gerlos Panoramaschleife benutzt überwiegend Wirtschaftswege des riesigen Skigebiets. Sie führt zwischen verschiedenen Almgelände hindurch und an einem Bergrücken entlang. Diese Tatsäche bietet überwältigende Blicke auf den Zillertalerhauptkamm.

Die Tour kann in Zell am Ziller begonnen werden. Fährt man in Richtung Enzianhof hinauf muß man auf die Höhenmeter der Tour nochmal gut 400 Höhenmeter aufrechnen. Ansonsten fährt man mit dem Auto bis zum Enzianhof und startet von dort.
