Die Tour geht von Banyoles ans Meer. Wegen unseer mangelnden Ortskenntnis ist der Anteil an Strassen wahrscheinlich höher als nötig, aber diese sind glücklicherwesie wenig befahren und die Autofahrer in der Regel sehr rücksichtsvoll. Das Gelände ist trotz Meeresnähe immer hügelig.

Die Tour startet in der Altstadt voin Banyoles. Banyoles selbst liegt etwa 15 km von Girona entfernt und ist bequem per Bus oder Auto zu erreichen.
