Der Track beginnt am Hauptbahnhof in Fulda und führt ostwärts stadtauswärts. Zunächst folge ich dem R3 und dann im Wesentlichen einer Route vom quaeldich.de-Planer durch den Main Spessart Kreis bis nach Gemünden. Von dort geht es parallel zum Main bis nach Würzburg. Insbesondere das Stück von Gemünden bis Zellingen ist zu empfehlen, da die Strecke über ein geringes Verkehrsaufkommen und einen akzeptablen Straßenbelag verfügt.
