Die Tour startet in Kötzting und führt über Haus, Bachmeierholz und Liebenstein. Nach Liebenstein endet die asphaltierte Straße und geht in eine geschotterte Forststraße über. Nach der immer stärker ansteigenden Strecke wartet ein sehr schöner Ausblick. Zurück nach Kötzting nehmen wir den Wanderweg über Ried b. Haidstein. Dort ist die mit über 1000 Jahren älteste deutsche Linde zu besichtigen.
