Sehr schöne einfache aber lange Bergwanderung, mit herrlichen Aussichten in die Allgäuer Bergwelt.
Es gibt zwei kurze Stellen die etwas Trittsicherheit verlangen. Zum einen ist durch Steingeröll der Weg beschädigt. Dort kann man sich an einem Drahtseil halten. Zum anderem, der kurze Aufstieg zum Gipfelkreuz. Hier muß man hin und wieder die Hände zur Hilfe nehmen. Der Aufstieg zum Gipfel ist aber nicht notwendig. Unterhalb von diesem, hat man genauso eine gute Rundumsicht.
Die Tour kann 6 km kürzer gestaltet werden, wenn man von der Mittelstation Fellhornbahn ins Tal abfährt (empfehlenswert).
Wanderer die lieber bergab laufen, sollten vom Tal mit der Fellhornbahn zur Mittelstation fahren und die Tour umgekehrt abwandern.
