Die Wanderung führt durch das felsige Hochplateau von Kastel Staadt . Es ist eine grandiose Felslandschaft aus Sandstein mit aufragenden Steilwänden und schönen Aussichten, besonders beeindruckend vom Altfels, dessen Höhen nur durch einen Miniklettersteig zu erreichen ist.
