Von St.Margareten oberhalb Brannenburg den Wegweisern Mitteralm Wendelstein auf einem Forstweg folgen, ab dem Bahnhof der Zahnradbahn Aipl ( ca 3km) den Winterweg auf die Skipiste Richtung Mitteralm folgen. 300 Meter nach der Mitteralm gehts links über die Gleise auf die Piste immer aufwärts. Am Soinsee vorbei unterhalb des Wildalpjochs , links sieht man dann die Mulde des Lacherkars, dann wird abgefellt und eine kurze Abfahrt Richtung Wendelstein, bei einer kleinen Hütte wieder auffellen und die letzten Meter an einer Steilen Wand vorbei unter dem Tunnel der Zahnradbahn durch und den Hotelhang hinauf.Rückweg wie Aufstieg.
Die Tour ist am besten wenn kein Skibetrieb ist. Naturpisten und keine Leute.
