Vom Parkplatz Sägewerk in Wengen geht es durch den Bergwald hinauf bis zur Weggabelung. Hier links halten in Richtung Hospiz (Kreuzkofel). Rechts geht´s zu den Armentarawiesen (von hier kommen wir wieder zurück). Nun immer Richtung Wandfuß vom Kreuzkofel über ausgedehnte Schotterflächen (natürlich schneebedeckt). Über einen Sattel leicht bergab bis zur Kirche des Hospiz. Dort Einkehr. Zurück über die Armentarawiesen zum Ausgangspunkt.

Gadertal. Von der Hauptstraße von Norden kommend Richtung Wengen. In Wengen bergauf, am Bad (al bagno) vorbei, bis zur Parkmöglichkeit am Sägewerk. Dort ist auch der Startpunkt.
