Am besten ein Autos oder Fahrrad in Weißenbach am Attersee beim Einstieg auf den Schoberstein abstellen.
Der Einstieg des Brennerriesensteigs ist in Steinbach am Attersee beim Forsthaus. Gute 2 Stunden dauert der Aufstieg auf die Brennerin wo Trittsicherheit und gutes Schuhwerk gefragt sind. Von der Brennerin zum Dachsteinblick zum Mahdlgupf und zum Schoberstein geht es immer bergab mit einer super Aussicht auf den Attersee auf der einen Seite und auf das Gebirge der Nordalpen auf der anderen Seite.
Einkehrmöglichkeiten gibt es erst unten am See, daher genug Profiant mitnehmen. (5 Stundentour)
