Wir starten in Casiglione del Lago am Trasimenosee über wenig befahrene Straßen vorbei am Lago di Chiusi das letzte Stück steil hinauf nach Chianciano Terme. Nach einen Espresso auf der Piazza geht es weiter Richtung Montepulciano, leider nimmt der Verkehr etwas zu aber nach einer knappen Stunde sind wir mitten im Trubel der bekannten Ortschaft und somit am höchsten Punkt unserer Tour. Ab hier fast alles nur mehr bergab bis zum Ausgangspunkt.
