Die Tour startet in Hörschel bei Eisenach am Bahnhof. Dann bin ich zum größten Teil den Radweg gefolgt. Die Strecke selbst verlangt stellenweise gute Kraftausdauer, vorallem am Anfang bis Km 35 ungefähr. Die Wege sind , meiner Meinung nach, nur mit Mtb´s zu befahren. Sie sind zwar gut ausgebaut, aber eben nicht alles. Es gibt sehr steinige Abschnitte wo ich mir auch einen Platten zugezogen habe. Enden tut die Tour in Oberhof am Bahnhof. Von dort geht es in ca. 2:30 Std per Bahn zurück nach Hörschel. Kosten ca. 18€.
