Der Aufstieg beginnt am Parkplatz Lysá Polana (970 m). Auf einer Asphaltstraße (teilweise auch Wanderwege) geht es 9 km in Richtung Morskie Oko. Für diesen Abschnitt kann man auch eine Pferdekutsche nutzen. Die letzten 20 min bis zum See dann auf jeden Fall zu Fuß.

Von der Berggaststätte am Morskie Oko geht ein Wanderweg rund um denSee. Der Aufstieg zum Czarny Staw pod Rysami (Schwarzer Teich) liegt an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Sees.
Czarny Staw: Höhe: 1583 m
Der Morskie Oko bildet den Ausgangpunkt für weitere Touren in der Hohen Tatra. Wir mußten leider zu unserem Auto nach Lysá Polana zurück.
