 Man geht immer der Beschilderung des VIA NOVA Pilgerweges entlang. Es geht stetig bergauf. Vor dem höchsten Punkt  1100 m ( Kolomannsberg) ist ein relativ steiler Anstieg. Kurz vor dem Gipfel kann man sich an einer Quelle mit frischem Wasser versorgen. Durch den Wald geht es dann steil bergab.
