Von der sehenswerten Stadt Xanten führt die Strecke über Felder zur Rheinbrücke Emmerich nach Holland.In Holland führt die Strecke meist auf dem Rheindamm mit weiten Blick über Felder und Rhein. Bei Nimwegen über die Rheinbrücke zurück zur linken Rheinseite.Dann durch Wald und über Felder, meist Abseits des Autoverkehrs zurück nach Xanten.
