Ausgangspunkt für diese kurze Rundwanderung ist der Malscher Ortsteil Völkersbach. Der Weg verläuft zum großen Teil im Wald, bis sich dann nach etwa nach zwei Drittel der Strecke am Rimmelsbacher Hof eine große Waldlichtung mit Wiesen und einigen wenigen Häusern öffnet. Hier besteht auch im gleichnamigen Gasthaus die Möglichkeit sich zu stärken (Dienstag Ruhetag, Stand: August 2011).
