Der letzte Teil der Wanderung durch den Landkreis Günzburg führte von Oberegg nach Weiler. Max Czysz, Redakteur der Mittelschwäbischen Nachrichten, durchwanderte an drei Tagen den Landkreis Günzburg. In Weiler erreichte er den höchsten Punkt des Kreises mit rund 600 Metern und wurde spontan von Bürgermeister Karl Weiß empfangen.
