Von der Edelrauthütte direkt auf den Neveser Höhenweg. Immer parallel zum Tal den Hang entlang. Fast stetig auf gleicher Höhe. Nach ca. zwei Stunden käme der Weg zum Ursprungbach. Vor dort ging es früher weiter zur Chemnitzer Hütte. Nach einem gewaltigen Geländeabgang ist dieser Weg nicht mehr möglich. Jezt Abstieg auf einem neu angelegten Weg zum Neveser Staussee (sehr romantisch).

Anfahrt Neveser Stausee über Ahrntal - Mühlwalder Tal - Lappach - Mautstraße zum Stausee (4 €).
Dort ausreichend Park- und Einkehrmöglichkeiten.
