Ride starts by parking on the ski resort road. Go up Chamisa trail, #183 to Winsor Trail. Take a right and climb, crossing the Tesuque Creeek once.
Return is as an out and back. Cut over to the Burn Trail from the Saddle. Somewhere in there is the Sidewinder trail, dropping back to the road.
This route only goes up 7.76 miles, but there's more climbing possible.
Other options are parking at Tesuque and climbing the whole Winsor trail, but there's about 20 stream crossings from that spot.

Drive up Artist Road (NM 475) towards the ski area. About 4 1/2 miles up the road parking on the right side of the road (hopefully in the shade).
