Start ist am Karchessee, parken kann man bei der Gaststätte (Privatparkplatz 2€) vorbei an etlichen Verbotsschildern (der Wirt hat einen Ordnungstick) auf den Winterwanderweg, dann runter vom Weg quer durch den Wald. Ein Stück unterhalb des Gipfels trifft man dann wieder auf den Weg der dann gar hoch zum Asenturm führt. Oben evtl.einkehren dann über den Pfad und weiter unten auf tief verschneiten Forstwegen zurück zum Auto.
Ich bin die Tour mit Schneeschuhen hoch und mit Skiern (die ich mit hochgetragen habe) wieder runter gelaufen/fahren. Wer Tourenskier hat ist da noch besser ausgerüstet. Auch als reine Schneeschuh- tour ist es natürlich möglich
