Von Linz aus gehts über St. Magdalena, Oberbairing, Hellmonsödt dem Wanderweg 160 entlang bis nach Bad Leonfelden. Von dort aus dann weiter dem Obersternweg entlang bis zum Gasthof Waldschenke, welche auch eine ausgezeichnete Möglichkeit zur Übernachtung bietet.
Das Gasthaus Waldschenke ist auch der ideale Ausgangspunkt für weitere Mountainbiketouren im tschechisch-österreichischem Grenzgebiet (siehe weitere Touren).
