om Parkplatz Seegatterl bei Reit im Winkl sind wir gestartet, um das Düürnbachhorn zu besteigen.
Der Aufstieg führt zunächst durch die Dürrnbach-Schlucht. Der Wald ist hier ziemlich ursprünglich, einige Bäume an den steilen Hängen sind bereits umgefallen. Während der Wanderung hat uns ständig das Rauschen des Dürrnbaches begleitet.
Der Wanderweg führt an der Winklmoos-Alm vorbei direkt hinauf zur Dürrnbach-Alm.
