Sehr schöne Wanderung durch Wälder und an gepflegten Bauernhöfen vorbei bis zum Buchecksattel meist mäßig ansteigend. Ab Buchecksattel bis zum Ottokar Kernstock Haus dann doch etwas steiler. Dort gibt`s einen lustigen Wirt und eine sehr gute Jause.

Von der S 36 Richtung Bruck/Mur schon bei der Abfahrt Breitenau / St. Jakob (Autohaus Krautinger) abfahren und dann im zweiten Kreisverkehr Richtung Pernegg. In Pernegg vor der Kirche links abbiegen, immer geradeaus in den Gabraungraben und bei einem kleinen Wanderparkplatz parken.
