Die Tour führt durch die wunderschöne Holsteiniche Schweiz vorbei an Seen, Feldern und kleinen Orten. Die Strecke führt überwiegend über Nebenstraßen und wenig befahrenen Hauptstraßen. Landschaftlich gesehen bietet die Strecke immer wieder neue Höhepunkte und lädt zum Verweilen in kleinen gastronomischen Betrieben ein.

Der kleine Ort Bosau, den ich als meinen Startort genutzt habe, liegt am Großen Plöner See ca. 15 km von der Stadt Eutin entfernt.
