Die Familienwanderung - nicht kinderwagengeeignet - ist ein Rundkurs von Wernfels, über die Bärenburg zur Pflugsmühle und wieder zurück zum Sportplatz nach Wernfels.
Mit insgesamt 8,5 KM ist sie für größere Kinder geeignet, wobei ein Großteil im Wald stattfindet. Es sind allerdings einige Höhenmeter zu bewältigen.
Der Rundweg entgegen dem Uhrzeitsinn ist so geplant, das nach dem Biergarten der Pflugmühle nur noch ein kurzer Restweg zurück zum Ausgangspunkt zu erwandern ist.
