Ein Teil des Rundkurses liegt auf der zurück gebauten Bahntrasse Brockel-Wittorf und verläuft zwischen hohen Eichen und Erlen mit Blick auf Bruchflächen, Wiesen, Äcker und Wald. Ein kurzer Abschnitt (ca 200m) sind unbefestigter Weg, sonst verkehrsarme asphaltierte Nebenstrecken.
