Von Bellano fahren wir nach Vendrognio am Fusse des Monte Muggio. Parken kann man hier bei der Kirche in Vendrognio.
Die Wanderung beginnt in Vendrognio 730m und führt uns Bergwärts teils durch Bergwald nach Camaggiore. Hier gibts eine Rast mit Aussicht auf Comersee und Luganersee gleichzeitig. Der Rückweg führt uns auf dem Fahrweg (erst Schotter, später Asphalt) teils durch schöne Birkenwälder zurück nach Vendrognio.
Einkehrmöglichkeit gibts in der Bar beim Parkplatz an der Kirche und bei Camaggiore in der Osteria Bartolo.
Wir haben die Wanderung Wochentags gemacht und waren fast alleine unterwegs. Am Wochenende könnte evtl. viel Verkehr von Bellano Richtung Monte Muggio sein.
