Diese Tour ist landschaftlich recht schön und bietet zahlreiche Ausblicke auf die Talsperre Pöhl und das Umland (Vogtland). Die Strecke ist zum größten Teil auch für Fahrräder geeignet, jedoch muß man schon sehr auf die Beschilderung (Gelber Strich auf weißem Grund) achten.
Uns ist es das eine oder andere mal passiert, dass wir vom Talsperrenrundweg abgekommen sind und diesen dann erst wieder suchen mußten.
Trotz alle dem ist die Runde auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, da rund um die Talsperre für jeden etwas geboten wird. Vom Badestrand(auch mit FKK), Hundestrand, fast einsame Buchten, sehr empfehlenswerter Kletterwald, Schiffs oder Bootstour,.....!!!

Die Talsperre Pöhl ist über die A72 Abfahrt Treuen oder Plauen Ost sehr gut zu erreichen!
