Es handelt sich um die Tour 15 "Vom Schloss Bensberg zur Grube Cox und zur Rochuskapelle" aus dem Wanderführer von Dumont "Wandern im Bergischen Land".
Die Rundtour beginnt und endet auf dem Parkplatz am Stadion im Milchborntal. Für Autofahrer ist dies ein geeigneter Startpunkt, weil hier reichlich Parkfläche vorhanden ist, die überdies noch kostenlos ist. Der Zugang zum Schloss ist - wie im Wanderführer beschrieben - problemlos über den Hardtweg bzw über den Milchborntalweg/Ritzenberg problemlos möglich.
