Vom Gasthof Rabensteiner ca. 500 m bergab zum Kreuzungspunkt St. Paul/St. Martin (Weg Nr. 306, 06). Links abbiegen Richtung St. Martin (Weg Nr. 3, ca. 45 Minuten Gehzeit). Gleich nach der Ortschaft St. Martin geht es steil bergauf bis zum Eiser Sattel (auf 2 km sind ca. 300 Höhenmeter zu bewältigen, Weg Nr. 335). Bei der Wegkreuzung Eiser Sattel rechts halten. Weiter geht es über den Zwölferkogel (806 m) und den Langer Berg (786 m) bis zum Grutscher Kreuz, und in weiterer Folge zum Gasthaus Kollmann (Einkehrmöglichkeit) auf der Windisch Grutschen (Weg Nr. 306). Der letzte Streckenteil dieser Wanderung führt durch schattige Wälder vorbei an der Weinbergkapelle zum Endziel der Tour, die Frühstückspension Töfferl am Griffner Berg.
