Die Tour führt parallel zur L499 talabwärts bis Helmbach, kreuzt die Landstrasse und geht anschließend bergauf, vorbei an einer Schutzhütte, dem Ehscheid zum Naturfreundehaus Elmstein in Harzofen und wieder zurück nach Elmstein.
