Vom Parkplatz am Bushäuschen mit dem Zeichen "Planetenweg" zunächst kräftig aufwärts. An der Station "Neptun" vorbei zur Straße, hier nach rechts und nach Linkskurve an der Markierung geradeaus auf dem Sträßchen zur Burg "Feuerstein". Zurück und am Abzweig rechts mit Markierung weiter. Nun geht es meist eben dahin, an einem Pfadfinder- Haus vorbei nach Eschlipp. An Sträßchen links, an Schießgelände vorbei und an Kreuzung halblinks im Wald zum Flugplatz "Feuerstein". Kurz danach beginnt der Planetenweg mit Infotafel "Saturn". Wir folgen Weg und Markierung bis nach Niedermirsberg zurück.

Von Forchheim kommend auf B470 hinter Weilersbach links ab nach Niedermirsberg. Nach Ortsmitte beim Bushäuschen parken.
