Vom Parkplatz bei Obervernatsch den Weg Nr. 9 zur Oberen Mairalm (2095 m). Von dort den Weg Nr. 10 über die Dickeralm zum Dickerhof (Mittagessen: Suppen). Weg Nr. 23 bis zum Kopfron und weiter auf Nr. 24 bis zur Straße von Katharinaberg zum Parkplatz. Zuletzt ein Hatscher bis zum Auto auf der Straße hinauf. Trotzdem sehr schöne Rundwanderung.
