This is the first day of a six day coast to coast mountainbilke ride through the Scottish Highlands from Kyle of Lochalsh at the Atlantic coast to Montrose at the Northsea shores.
Starting at Kyleakin, you follow the road along Loch Alsh and Loch Duich. At Shielbridge, you leave the main road and follow the Old Military Road to Glenelg. Enjoy a stop in Glenelg for lunch and prepare for the first off-road part of the CtC, starting in Corran. Follow the paths and later the river and powerlines to Kinlochhourn Farmhouse B&B.
