Von Friedrichshafen geht es zunächst nach Tettnag dann weiter durchs Allgäuer Vorland auf kleinsten Sträßchen über Amzell zur Waldburg. Weiter durch den Altdorfer Wald vorbei an Vogt nach Wolfegg.
Von dort hinab zur Wolfegger Aach durch ein schönes Tal (Talsmühle, Eckhäusle, Mahlweiher) wieder hinauf nach Bergatreute. Dann über Ankenreute, Gaisbeuren und Tannweiler nach Aulendorf.
Von dort kann man bequem mit dem Zug zurück nach Friedrichshafen fahren.
