Cross-country macht Spaß, besonders wenn es durch den wohl größten Buchenbestand in Vorarlberg geht. Beim Wasserwerk-Gebäude in Bludenz-Obdorf achte man/frau auf den kaum sichtbaren Weg, der am Zaun entlang nach links oben führt. Die 9,3 km, die der Garmin für diese Route angibt, bezweifle ich allerdings. Die 225 Höhenmeter im Aufstieg machen die Strecke anspruchsvoll. Auch die Wurzeln auf den schmalen Waldwegen sind konzentrationsfördernd. Der Rest ist Stadtstraße, 8o Treppen hinauf zum Schloss und verkehrsarme Straßen, vorbei an Krankenhaus, Schule und die Brücke über das Galgentobel.
