Die Wanderung startet an der Bergstation, der Seilbahn Burgstall-Vöran. Man geht durch Vöran Richtung Leader Alm / Gasthof "grüner Baum". Man kann die Wanderung auch dort starten da es Parkmöglichkeiten gibt. Der Weg geht stetig bergauf, mal durch den Wald, mal über eine Forststraße. Der Rückweg entspricht dem Hinweg.
